Description

Fluted pie pan in blued iron, with a fixed (watertight pie pan) bottom.
Ideal for cooking traditional tarts, tart bases, pies or quiches.
Undeformable sturdy pie pan.
Blue colour of iron due to a surface thermal treatment: temporary protection against oxidation.
Excellent cooking results thanks to iron: the pie pan reaches high temperatures, enabling the juices to caramelise (Maillard reaction).
Even diffusion of heat and uniform cooking.
Tip: grease well before use, or use with baking paper.
Do not use to work with cold ingredients.
Care: scrape, brush after use. Lightly grease to protect iron. Store in a dry place.
Not dishwasher-safe. Do not wash with detergents.
