Mojito-style chicken shrimp kebabs

Ingredients

  • 12 large shrimps
  • 4 chicken fillets
Marinade
  • Fresh chopped mint
  • 5 tbsps of white or dark rum
  • 3 tbsps of lime juice
  • 2 tbsps of lime zests
  • 2 tbsps of olive oil
  • 1 tbsp of honey
  • 1 sliced Thai chili

Instructions

In a bowl, mix the marinade ingredients together.


Pour into a dish, add the diced shrimp and chicken. Leave to marinate in a cool place for 30 minutes.


When ready to cook, preheat the barbecue to a medium-high heat. Drain the shrimp and chicken.


Stick the shrimp on two skewers at a time (in parallel).


On the hot, oiled barbecue grill, cook the kebabs on both sides.


Serve with lime wedges and chopped mint on top.
