A partnership that focuses on the taste of good things.

We have been designing and manufacturing kitchen utensils for professionals for over a century. SIRHA Bocuse d'or

What is it?

The world's biggest culinary competition.

In January 1987, Paul Bocuse created the  Bocuse d’Or, a revolutionary gastronomy contest.
Replicating the codes of major sporting events, he imagined a true show placing the emphasis on cooking and on the chefs.

See you in 2023

The next final of the Bocuse d’Or will take place on Sunday 26th and Monday 27th September 2021, during the SIRHA LYON, Eurexpo Lyon.

Bring together 24 young chefs from all over the world, among the most promising talents of their generation, and have them prepare superb dishes within 5 hours 35 minutes, live in front of an enthusiastic audience.

To tell them apart, a jury composed of the most illustrious chefs of the planet.

Beyond a mere cooking contest, the Bocuse d'Or is a show that draws extraordinary media coverage. Many talented chefs have made a name for themselves thanks to the contest, and have promoted their own culinary heritage.

Candidates will have to create a takeaway menu based on 3 dishes (starter, main course, dessert), and the same seasonal product: the tomato, in partnership with the French food wholesaler METRO. All of this will be presented in a box developed by the candidates themselves using plant-based materials, and which must be reusable.

The platter theme, in partnership with Label Rouge beef, will feature a hot dish based on whole braised beef chuck, presented for the first time on a same platter for all candidates, financed by the competition organization and designed by the partner DE BUYER.

This is perhaps the most eagerly awaited test of the competition, due to the wealth of techniques required to achieve the final result.

The 24 candidates will have to present the hot dish and its side dishes for 14 people on this huge tray of almost 90 cm.

The unusually large tray is made of polished stainless steel on the inside and outside.

Its mirror-like surface will magnify the products presented by the candidates.

Weighing almost 13 kg, 4 ergonomic handles will allow Chefs to move it easily from the box to the jury.

In the run-up to the competition, the 24 teams selected for the Bocuse d'Or 2021 final are using the Affinity collection to train.

Ever since France was selected for the Bocuse d'Or in September 2019, de Buyer has helped Davy Tissot and team France to prepare for the 2021 edition of the Bocuse d'Or.

Supported by Team France, chaired by two-starred chef and 2005 Bocuse d'Or winner Serge Vieira, Davy Tissot has surrounded himself with a team that is as determined as he is and with whom he works at the heart of the Team France premises in Ecully. Chef Alain Le Cossec, Meilleur Ouvrier de France, supports him on a daily basis to accompany him in his intensive training. Naïs Pirollet, in charge of recipe research and development, brings her creativity with a fresh eye and Julien Dubois, a trained chef and former military officer, is in charge of Team France's logistics as project manager. The chef Yohann Chapuis, Michelin-starred chef of the Greuze restaurant in Tournus and official coach, the clerks Nicolas Ferrand and Arthur Debray, official commis chef who will be Davy Tissot's understudy in the box, are also valuable and crucial supporters in this adventure. A close-knit team to share, exchange and build together the continuation of the story.
