This pack includes 2 MINERAL B carbon steel frying pans (Ø24 cm and Ø28 cm) along with a neoprene sleeve designed to protect your hand from heat during handling. Compatible with the iconic strip-steel handle of carbon steel pans, it can also be used on a sauté pan or wok with the same type of handle. However, it must never come into direct contact with the flame.
MINERAL B pans are ideal for searing, browning and grilling thanks to the Maillard reaction. They allow perfect caramelisation of juices while keeping the inside tender, for natural and flavourful cooking. Their beeswax finish provides temporary protection against oxidation and helps with seasoning.
This pack is designed for cooks seeking durable pans for high‑heat cooking, while enjoying high‑quality French manufacturing.

MINERAL B pans develop a natural patina over time: the seasoning. This process enhances cooking performance with each use and improves food release. The more you cook, the more efficient, oxidation‑resistant and pleasant to use the pan becomes.
To achieve proper seasoning, simply wash and dry your pan before first use, heat it with a thin layer of oil, let it smoke, then wipe it before heating it dry. The pan will take on a characteristic brown patina, indicating that the natural coating is forming. Over time, the colour will evolve from brown to black.

The MINERAL B carbon steel pans are made from thick white steel, a robust material that ensures fast and even heat distribution. Their riveted strip-steel handle, curved in the French style, guarantees a precise and comfortable grip, even during intense cooking.
The included neoprene sleeve provides additional comfort by insulating the hand from heat. Easy to maintain, it must be used with care: no direct flame contact, no use after oven cooking, and never on a handle exceeding 50°C.

Pour about 1mm of oil into your iron pan and heat it. Once the oil slightly steams, empty it into a recipient and wipe the pan with a paper towel.
The seasoning of your pan will be optimal and efficient after having cooked red meat 10 times. The more your pan is used, the best the cooking results are. The more it blackens, the less it sticks. Once your pan is well seasoned, you will be able to cook more delicate food such as eggs, fishes…
