The AFFINITY stainless-steel pack: performance and versatility for everyday cooking

This pack brings together two emblematic pieces from the AFFINITY range: the stainless-steel rounded sauté pan Ø24 cm and the stainless-steel saucepan Ø20 cm. Together, they form a versatile duo perfectly suited to everyday cooking as well as more technical preparations: sauces, reductions, simmered dishes, pastry creams, broths or pasta.

Designed to offer precise thermal control, these utensils meet the expectations of demanding cooks. Their generous capacity (2.8 L for the sauté pan and 3.3 L for the saucepan) allows you to work comfortably for family meals or more elaborate recipes, while maintaining ease of use and full control over cooking.

With their clean, professional design, these 5‑ply multilayer stainless-steel AFFINITY pieces integrate naturally into a modern kitchen, whether domestic or professional. They form a solid foundation for building a durable and coherent cookware set.

AFFINITY multilayer stainless steel: responsiveness and even heat distribution

The Ø24 cm rounded sauté pan and the Ø20 cm saucepan both feature the 5‑ply multilayer structure, combining several layers of stainless steel and aluminium throughout the entire height of the utensil. This ensures rapid heating and perfectly even heat distribution, from the base to the sides.

This thermal reactivity allows instant adjustment of cooking power, particularly appreciated for sauces, reductions or delicate preparations. Ingredients are not exposed to sudden temperature shocks and therefore retain their flavours, textures and nutritional qualities.

Made entirely from high‑quality stainless steel, these utensils offer durability suitable for intensive use. They are compatible with all heat sources, including induction, as well as the oven, providing great cooking flexibility.

A durable stainless-steel sauté pan and saucepan duo, made in France

The AFFINITY sauté pan and saucepan are equipped with riveted cast‑stainless‑steel handles, ensuring a secure and stable grip. These handles include a heat-stop feature to prevent excessive heating. Their ergonomics are designed to facilitate handling, even when the utensils are full.

Their mirror‑polished exterior finish enhances the premium aesthetic of the AFFINITY collection and makes maintenance easier. Stainless‑steel surfaces clean easily and are dishwasher‑safe, while recovering their shine with occasional polishing using a stainless‑steel care paste.

This pack is made in France, in accordance with renowned professional craftsmanship. It is intended for users seeking reliable, precise and durable utensils capable of supporting both everyday cooking and the most demanding recipes.

FAQ

AISI 304 stainless steel and 18/10 stainless steel refer to the same type of stainless steel, the one suitable for food contact. AISI (American Iron and Steel Institute) is an international standard used to classify stainless steels.

In everyday use, stainless steel is more commonly referred to as 18/10; the “10” represents the percentage of nickel in the alloy. The AISI 304 specification requires between 8% and 10% nickel. For everyday kitchen use, there is no difference in durability or ageing between 8% and 10% nickel.

AISI 304 stainless steel and 18/10 stainless steel therefore indicate the same quality of stainless steel. However, we prefer to use the term AISI 304 stainless steel, as it is the “official” designation for this alloy.
