With its Ø18 cm diameter and 2.4 L capacity, the ALCHIMY stainless‑steel saucepan meets everyday needs: cooking vegetables, preparing a velouté, making a larger batch of sauce, reheating a dish or reducing a broth. This intermediate volume provides comfortable working space.
The full 3‑ply construction (AISI 304 stainless steel inside, aluminium core, induction stainless steel outside) ensures even heat distribution across the entire surface. Cooking remains consistent, even when the saucepan is filled to capacity.
Compatible with all heat sources, including induction, it can also be used in a “flash oven” (30 minutes at 200°C), like all ALCHIMY saucepans, sauté pans and frying pans.

The saucepan features a watertight stainless‑steel tube handle, French‑style curved and riveted for stability and durability. This handle ensures a secure grip, even when the utensil contains hot liquid.
The engraved measurements (L and Qt) allow direct measuring inside the saucepan, and the pouring rim makes transferring liquids clean and drip‑free. These elements simplify handling and reduce the need for additional tools.
The Ø18 cm format integrates easily into a cookware set: it stacks neatly with other ALCHIMY saucepans and stores without difficulty.

The ALCHIMY Ø18 cm saucepan is made in France from high‑quality AISI 304 stainless steel, resistant to corrosion and suitable for intensive use. The riveted handles ensure long‑lasting stability.
Dishwasher‑safe and resistant to “flash oven” use, it meets the demands of everyday cooking. Its brushed finish, characteristic of the ALCHIMY range, offers a professional and durable appearance.
A robust, precise and versatile utensil, designed to support all common preparations efficiently.

AISI 304 stainless steel and 18/10 stainless steel refer to the same type of stainless steel, the one suitable for food contact. AISI (American Iron and Steel Institute) is an international standard used to classify stainless steels.
In everyday use, stainless steel is more commonly referred to as 18/10; the “10” represents the percentage of nickel in the alloy. The AISI 304 specification requires between 8% and 10% nickel. For everyday kitchen use, there is no difference in durability or ageing between 8% and 10% nickel.
AISI 304 stainless steel and 18/10 stainless steel therefore indicate the same quality of stainless steel. However, we prefer to use the term AISI 304 stainless steel, as it is the “official” designation for this alloy.
