With its Ø24 cm diameter and 5.5 L capacity, the ALCHIMY multilayer stainless-steel saucepan is designed for generous cooking: family-size soups, large quantities of pasta, vegetables for several guests, stocks, broths or pastry mixtures. Its wide diameter provides an extended heating surface, ideal for quick reduction or stirring without constraints.
It is made from 3‑ply multilayer stainless steel, a structure composed of three complementary materials: AISI 304 stainless steel inside for food neutrality, an aluminium core for heat diffusion, and induction-compatible stainless steel outside for use on all heat sources. This combination ensures even heating and excellent thermal stability.

The saucepan is equipped with a watertight, riveted stainless-steel tube handle, ensuring reliable stability even when the utensil is heavily loaded. The engraved interior measurements (L and Qt) make direct measuring easier, and the pouring rim allows clean flow when transferring preparations.
It works on all types of hobs, including induction, and can be used in a “flash oven” (30 minutes at 200°C), like all saucepans, sauté pans and frying pans in the ALCHIMY range.
For maintenance, washing with hot water and dish soap is recommended. It is dishwasher-safe, although manual cleaning better preserves the appearance of the stainless steel. As with any multilayer utensil, heating empty should be avoided to maintain thermal performance.

The ALCHIMY Ø24 cm saucepan is made in France from high-quality AISI 304 stainless steel, known for its corrosion resistance and long lifespan. Riveted fittings ensure long-lasting strength, even under intensive use.
Its brushed finish, characteristic of the collection, gives it a professional and refined appearance. Thanks to its robustness, thermal stability and large volume, it meets the expectations of professional kitchens as well as home cooks looking for reliable, durable equipment.
A high-performance, stable utensil designed to handle large-capacity preparations with precision.

AISI 304 stainless steel and 18/10 stainless steel refer to the same type of stainless steel, the one suitable for food contact. AISI (American Iron and Steel Institute) is an international standard used to classify stainless steels.
In everyday use, stainless steel is more commonly referred to as 18/10; the “10” represents the percentage of nickel in the alloy. The AISI 304 specification requires between 8% and 10% nickel. For everyday kitchen use, there is no difference in durability or ageing between 8% and 10% nickel.
AISI 304 stainless steel and 18/10 stainless steel therefore indicate the same quality of stainless steel. However, we prefer to use the term AISI 304 stainless steel, as it is the “official” designation for this alloy.
