With its 20 cm diameter, this AFFINITY multilayer stainless steel saucepan is perfect for dishes to share: soups, sauces, vegetables, or pasta. The included stainless steel lid allows for covered cooking, preserving aromas and limiting splatters. Its interior graduation facilitates measuring liquids.

The 5-ply technology ensures a rapid rise in temperature and uniform distribution across the entire skirt. Even off the heat, cooking stops instantly, which prevents overcooking. Its robust structure is designed to last, even with intensive use.
A 5-ply multi-layer stainless steel is composed as follows:
- 1 layer of ferritic stainless steel compatible with induction
- 3 layers of aluminum, including one reinforced aluminum layer for exceptional thermal responsiveness
- 1 layer of AISI 304 stainless steel suitable for food contact

Made in France, this stainless steel saucepan is compatible with all heat sources, including induction, and is oven-safe. Its riveted cast stainless steel handle stays cool during cooking. It is dishwasher-safe and can be polished to maintain its original shine. An essential for demanding cooks.

AISI 304 stainless steel and 18/10 stainless steel refer to the same type of stainless steel, the one suitable for food contact. AISI (American Iron and Steel Institute) is an international standard used to classify stainless steels.
In everyday use, stainless steel is more commonly referred to as 18/10; the “10” represents the percentage of nickel in the alloy. The AISI 304 specification requires between 8% and 10% nickel. For everyday kitchen use, there is no difference in durability or ageing between 8% and 10% nickel.
AISI 304 stainless steel and 18/10 stainless steel therefore indicate the same quality of stainless steel. However, we prefer to use the term AISI 304 stainless steel, as it is the “official” designation for this alloy.
