The 18 cm AFFINITY saucepan is ideal for common cooking tasks: vegetables, grains, sauces, or broths. Its stainless steel lid helps retain heat and allows for stewing. The closed flared rim facilitates serving without drips or splashes. Practical, it has interior graduations to measure quantities directly in the utensil.

Thanks to its 5-ply multilayer structure, this stainless steel saucepan offers uniform heat distribution and thermal reactivity close to that of copper. It is non-deformable, even at high temperatures, and allows for controlled cooking on all heat sources, including induction.
The 5-ply stainless steel of the AFFINITY collection is composed as follows:
- 1 layer of ferritic stainless steel compatible with induction
- 3 layers of aluminum, including one reinforced aluminum layer for exceptional thermal responsiveness
- 1 layer of AISI 304 stainless steel suitable for food contact

Made in France, it is equipped with an ergonomic riveted handle in cast stainless steel, guaranteed low temperature. It is dishwasher-safe and can be occasionally polished to maintain its shine. A compact, durable, and reassuring tool for everyday cooks.

AISI 304 stainless steel and 18/10 stainless steel refer to the same type of stainless steel, the one suitable for food contact. AISI (American Iron and Steel Institute) is an international standard used to classify stainless steels.
In everyday use, stainless steel is more commonly referred to as 18/10; the “10” represents the percentage of nickel in the alloy. The AISI 304 specification requires between 8% and 10% nickel. For everyday kitchen use, there is no difference in durability or ageing between 8% and 10% nickel.
AISI 304 stainless steel and 18/10 stainless steel therefore indicate the same quality of stainless steel. However, we prefer to use the term AISI 304 stainless steel, as it is the “official” designation for this alloy.
