The AFFINITY bombée sauté pan 20 cm is ideal for quickly sâutéing vegetables, searing pieces of meat, or reducing a sauce with precision. Its rounded shape promotes circular movements, perfect for dynamic cooking and technical techniques. The straight edge with a pouring lip allows clean serving, without drips or splashes.

Thanks to its 5‑ply multi‑layer structure (stainless‑steel exterior, three layers of aluminum, AISI 304 stainless‑steel interior), this stainless‑steel sauté pan heats up very quickly and instantly stops cooking once off the heat. This precise control is especially useful for short cooking times or delicate preparations. Heat spreads evenly across the entire sidewall, preventing hot spots.

Made in France, this versatile sauté pan is compatible with all stovetops, including induction, and is dishwasher safe. Its riveted stainless steel cast handle stays cool during cooking, providing a comfortable and secure grip. Its premium mirror polish can be revived occasionally to maintain its original shine.

AISI 304 stainless steel and 18/10 stainless steel refer to the same type of stainless steel, the one suitable for food contact. AISI (American Iron and Steel Institute) is an international standard used to classify stainless steels.
In everyday use, stainless steel is more commonly referred to as 18/10; the “10” represents the percentage of nickel in the alloy. The AISI 304 specification requires between 8% and 10% nickel. For everyday kitchen use, there is no difference in durability or ageing between 8% and 10% nickel.
AISI 304 stainless steel and 18/10 stainless steel therefore indicate the same quality of stainless steel. However, we prefer to use the term AISI 304 stainless steel, as it is the “official” designation for this alloy.
