Description
A versatile stainless-steel sauté pan for searing, simmering and reducing

With its Ø24 cm diameter and 3.1 L capacity, the ALCHIMY straight-sided sauté pan provides an ideal cooking surface for preparations requiring both width and depth. Its format allows for even searing, sautéing vegetables, reducing sauces or simmering dishes while maintaining good control over moisture.

Its 3‑ply multilayer stainless-steel design combines three complementary materials: AISI 304 stainless steel inside for food neutrality, an aluminium core for fast and even heat distribution, and an induction-compatible stainless-steel exterior for use on all heat sources. This structure ensures steady heat rise and excellent responsiveness.

A straight-sided sauté pan designed for efficient everyday use

The straight rim provides useful height to limit splashes and support preparations that require volume. The riveted stainless-steel tube handle ensures a stable grip, even when the pan is full.

The engraved interior measurements (L and Qt) allow direct measuring inside the utensil, and the pouring rim makes it easy to transfer sauces or liquids cleanly.

Compatible with all types of hobs, including induction, the sauté pan can also be used in a “flash oven” (30 minutes at 200°C), like all utensils in the ALCHIMY range.

For maintenance, washing with hot water and dish soap is recommended. It is dishwasher-safe, although manual cleaning better preserves the appearance of stainless steel. As with any multilayer utensil, avoiding heating when empty is preferable.

Durable French manufacturing suited to all uses

The ALCHIMY Ø24 cm sauté pan is made in France from high-quality multilayer stainless steel, known for its corrosion resistance and long lifespan.

Its brushed finish, a signature of the collection, gives it a professional and refined appearance. Thanks to its robustness, thermal responsiveness and versatility, it meets the needs of professional kitchens as well as home cooks seeking reliable, long-lasting cookware.

A 3‑ply stainless-steel sauté pan that is precise, stable and versatile, designed to support both everyday cooking and more technical preparations.

    FAQ

AISI 304 stainless steel and 18/10 stainless steel refer to the same type of stainless steel, the one suitable for food contact. AISI (American Iron and Steel Institute) is an international standard used to classify stainless steels.

In everyday use, stainless steel is more commonly referred to as 18/10; the “10” represents the percentage of nickel in the alloy. The AISI 304 specification requires between 8% and 10% nickel. For everyday kitchen use, there is no difference in durability or ageing between 8% and 10% nickel.

AISI 304 stainless steel and 18/10 stainless steel therefore indicate the same quality of stainless steel. However, we prefer to use the term AISI 304 stainless steel, as it is the “official” designation for this alloy.
