Description
The Ø32 cm wok for family‑style cooking

With its 5.5 L capacity and wide diameter, the ALCHIMY Ø32 cm stainless steel wok is the ideal utensil for large‑batch cooking: vegetable stir‑fries, Asian noodles, chicken curry, fried rice, roasted vegetables or slow‑cooked dishes for several guests. Its wide and stable base makes high‑heat cooking easy while offering excellent handling.

Thanks to its 3‑ply multilayer stainless steel structure (ferritic stainless steel exterior, aluminium core, AISI 304 stainless steel interior), heat spreads evenly across the entire surface of the wok, ensuring consistent cooking even with large quantities.

Perfect heat control with full 3‑ply construction

Crafted in full multilayer stainless steel, without an added base, the ALCHIMY Ø32 cm wok harnesses the full power of 3‑ply: rapid heat‑up, uniform diffusion from centre to edge and the complete absence of hot spots. Ideal for searing prawns, stir‑frying crisp vegetables or reducing a sauce directly in the wok.

Its watertight tubular handle, riveted and French‑curved, ensures a secure and comfortable grip. The hollow construction slows heat transfer, making it pleasant to handle even during long cooking sessions.

Compatible with all stovetops (gas, electric, ceramic glass and induction), the ALCHIMY Ø32 cm wok is also flash‑oven compatible (up to 200°C for 10 minutes) and dishwasher‑safe for easy everyday cleaning.

An exceptional wok, crafted in our Vosges manufacture

Entirely made in our manufacture located in the heart of the Vosges, the ALCHIMY Ø32 cm wok reflects our longstanding expertise in multilayer stainless steel. Each piece is shaped, assembled and inspected in our workshops, ensuring flawless quality and outstanding durability.

Featuring an elegant brushed finish and internal graduations every 0.5 L and Qt, it combines precision, robustness and professional aesthetics. Its large capacity makes it perfect for generous dishes: family‑size pad thai, beef and vegetable stir‑fries, homemade ramen, crisp vegetable woks, Thai curries or complete one‑pan meals for several people.

A versatile and fully French‑made utensil, designed for those who love cooking in large quantities without sacrificing precision.

    FAQ

AISI 304 stainless steel and 18/10 stainless steel refer to the same type of stainless steel, the one suitable for food contact. AISI (American Iron and Steel Institute) is an international standard used to classify stainless steels.

In everyday use, stainless steel is more commonly referred to as 18/10; the “10” represents the percentage of nickel in the alloy. The AISI 304 specification requires between 8% and 10% nickel. For everyday kitchen use, there is no difference in durability or ageing between 8% and 10% nickel.

AISI 304 stainless steel and 18/10 stainless steel therefore indicate the same quality of stainless steel. However, we prefer to use the term AISI 304 stainless steel, as it is the “official” designation for this alloy.
