Description
Fast and even cooking

Thanks to its 5-ply multilayer technology (exterior stainless steel, three layers of aluminum, AISI 304 stainless steel interior), this 16 cm saucepan heats up quickly and distributes heat evenly. It allows precise cooking while reducing energy consumption, a real advantage for demanding cooks.

User comfort and refined finishes

The flared, closed edge of this AFFINITY stainless steel saucepan ensures clean, drip-free pouring, while its riveted stainless steel handle provides a stable grip, even when hot. Its polished mirror stainless steel finish gives it a professional and elegant look, perfect for a modern kitchen.

French-made and easy to maintain

Made in the Vosges, this saucepan is compatible with all heat sources, including induction, and can go in the oven for versatile use. It is dishwasher safe and retains its original shine with occasional polishing using a suitable paste.

    FAQ

AISI 304 stainless steel and 18/10 stainless steel refer to the same type of stainless steel, the one suitable for food contact. AISI (American Iron and Steel Institute) is an international standard used to classify stainless steels.

In everyday use, stainless steel is more commonly referred to as 18/10; the “10” represents the percentage of nickel in the alloy. The AISI 304 specification requires between 8% and 10% nickel. For everyday kitchen use, there is no difference in durability or ageing between 8% and 10% nickel.

AISI 304 stainless steel and 18/10 stainless steel therefore indicate the same quality of stainless steel. However, we prefer to use the term AISI 304 stainless steel, as it is the “official” designation for this alloy.
