The ALCHIMY Ø20 cm multilayer stainless‑steel saucepan offers a 3.3 L capacity, ideal for preparations that require space: larger quantities of vegetables, pasta, soups, pastry mixtures, stocks and broths. Its diameter provides a wide heating surface, useful for reducing efficiently or stirring without overflow.
Its full 3‑ply construction (AISI 304 stainless steel inside, aluminium core, induction stainless steel outside) ensures even heat distribution, essential for consistent cooking. Multilayer stainless steel supports long or delicate preparations where precise heat control is required.

The saucepan features a watertight stainless‑steel tube handle, French‑style curved and riveted. This handle ensures a secure grip, even when the utensil contains a large volume. The pouring rim allows clean, controlled flow, and the engraved measurements (L and Qt) make dosing easier without additional tools.
Compatible with all heat sources, including induction, it can also be used in a “flash oven” (30 minutes at 200°C), like all saucepans, sauté pans and frying pans in the ALCHIMY range.
For maintenance, washing with hot water and dish soap is recommended. It is dishwasher‑safe, although manual cleaning better preserves the appearance of stainless steel. As with any multilayer utensil, heating empty is not advised.

The ALCHIMY collection is made in France from high‑quality AISI 304 stainless steel, resistant to corrosion and suitable for frequent use. Riveted handles ensure long‑lasting strength, even in professional environments.
Its brushed finish, characteristic of the collection, provides a clean and professional appearance. Thanks to its robustness and controlled heat distribution, it is suitable for restaurant kitchens as well as for home cooks seeking reliable, long‑lasting equipment.
A precise, stable utensil designed to support medium‑ to large‑capacity preparations.

AISI 304 stainless steel and 18/10 stainless steel refer to the same type of stainless steel, the one suitable for food contact. AISI (American Iron and Steel Institute) is an international standard used to classify stainless steels.
In everyday use, stainless steel is more commonly referred to as 18/10; the “10” represents the percentage of nickel in the alloy. The AISI 304 specification requires between 8% and 10% nickel. For everyday kitchen use, there is no difference in durability or ageing between 8% and 10% nickel.
AISI 304 stainless steel and 18/10 stainless steel therefore indicate the same quality of stainless steel. However, we prefer to use the term AISI 304 stainless steel, as it is the “official” designation for this alloy.
