With its versatile size, the ALCHIMY Ø20 cm stainless steel stewpot is ideal for preparing slow‑cooked dishes for two to four people: tender vegetables, homemade sauces, creamy risottos, small stews, grains or legumes. Its intermediate capacity makes it an everyday essential, perfectly suited to both gentle simmering and more intense cooking.
Its 3‑ply multilayer stainless steel construction (ferritic stainless steel exterior, aluminium core, AISI 304 stainless steel interior) ensures even heat distribution throughout the height of the stewpot, guaranteeing consistent and perfectly controlled cooking.

Crafted in full multilayer stainless steel, without an added base, the ALCHIMY Ø20 cm stewpot harnesses the full performance of 3‑ply: rapid heat‑up and uniform heat diffusion. Ideal for long simmering, reducing sauces or gently reheating a dish. With its 3.3 L capacity and internal graduations, it is practical for everyday use.
Its two riveted handles provide a stable and secure grip, even when the stewpot is full. Thanks to its ferritic stainless steel exterior, it is compatible with all stovetops: gas, electric, ceramic glass and induction. The ALCHIMY Ø20 cm stewpot is also oven‑safe.
Maintenance is effortless, as the stewpot is dishwasher‑safe, making daily use simple and convenient.

With the ALCHIMY collection, you are choosing cookware entirely made in France, in our manufacture located in Val‑d’Ajol, in the heart of the Vosges. Each stewpot is shaped, assembled and inspected in our workshops, reflecting craftsmanship passed down and perfected over decades.
Its brushed finish and 3‑ply multilayer stainless steel construction embody this commitment to precision and durability. A versatile, robust and fully French‑made utensil, designed to accompany all your simmered dishes — from everyday meals to more creative preparations.

AISI 304 stainless steel and 18/10 stainless steel refer to the same type of stainless steel, the one suitable for food contact. AISI (American Iron and Steel Institute) is an international standard used to classify stainless steels.
In everyday use, stainless steel is more commonly referred to as 18/10; the “10” represents the percentage of nickel in the alloy. The AISI 304 specification requires between 8% and 10% nickel. For everyday kitchen use, there is no difference in durability or ageing between 8% and 10% nickel.
AISI 304 stainless steel and 18/10 stainless steel therefore indicate the same quality of stainless steel. However, we prefer to use the term AISI 304 stainless steel, as it is the “official” designation for this alloy.
